Here comes the anti-flood barrier to fight the risk of bad weather


Here comes  on the market anti-flood barrier, an effective solution to counter the risks and storm damage.
It is barrier inflatable made of polyethylene, which in a few minutes can be filled with water, reach a height of 35 centimeters and be positioned in front of doors and gates to prevent ingress of water from flooding or spills of hazardous liquids .


Has been  presented today the anti- flood barrier, a new and effective tool to counter or limit the damage caused by flooding  of streams or ponds or the spillage of hazardous liquids.
In substance, the barrier is a barrier inflatable made of polyethylene that can be filled with water in a short time and, thanks to a height of 35 centimeters, avoid the entry of water or contaminants in houses, cellars or industrial plants.
To bring it to market is Airbank specialized in solutions for the Protection of the Environment and pollution, and the goal is to avoid hazards such as flooding of buildings in areas affected by severe weather, or near of rivers swollen by seasonal rains.

"Unfortunately,  autumn and spring are particularly difficult moments from the meteorological point of view, and the areas crossed by rivers are often exposed to their flooding," said Gloria Mazzoni, General Manager of Airbank. "If, until now, it was not possible, except in a very limited way, to act in such situations, these barriers will certainly be one more weapon. Operation is very simple: just fill with water, through the appropriate nozzle, the two rooms where the barrier is composed. In few minutes  this will reach a height that it can more effectively counter spills of water or hazardous liquids and avoid areas like basements or warehouses may be damaged. "
